Light Through Stone

A retreat for female founders who are ready for change in 2026.

9 founders. 48 hours. One bold move that changes everything.

Thursday 14th May - Saturday 16th May 2026

Your business works. Now it needs to work for you.

Perhaps things are good right now - genuinely good. Your revenue is solid, the team is growing; you've built something brilliant and you know it.

But you know there's a bigger version of this. A business where you're not the bottleneck. Where you can take two weeks off without everything falling apart. Where your income reflects the value you create, not just how many hours you can physically work.

You know she’s in there - the version of you running that business. You see how she spends her days. What she's stopped doing. The decisions she makes without second-guessing herself.

But right now? You're still too deep in delivery. Still making yourself available at all hours. Still the one who has to touch everything. Still wondering if you can actually afford that holiday, that team member, that investment in yourself.

And you're not 25 anymore. You've noticed - pushing through doesn't work like it used to. Your energy isn't unlimited. Your patience for time-wasting bullshit is gone. The way your body responds to stress has changed. You need more recovery time than you did five years ago, but your business is demanding more, not less.

Something has to shift.

Not eventually. Now.

The problem isn't that you don't know what to do.

You've already proven you can build something from nothing. You've made bold moves before - launching, pivoting, hiring, firing, surviving the hard years.

The problem is you don't have the space to think clearly about what comes next.

Every week is full of client calls, team management, firefighting. Your best thinking happens at 11pm when you should be sleeping, or in the shower, or on the rare weekend when you're not checking Slack every twenty minutes.

You can't strategise your way out of this while you're still buried in it. You need separation. Space. Women who understand exactly what it costs to build what you're building. Someone who knows how to help you access what you already know but can't quite reach on your own.

That's what Light Through Stone is.

The Setting

Mepal, Cambridgeshire. A private chapel in the heart of the Fens.

This is not a hotel conference room with the furniture pushed back. This is not a WeWork with a whiteboard and lukewarm coffee.

The chapel itself is a work in progress - much like all of us. It's far from perfect, mid-renovation, raw in places. But that's part of what makes it right for this work. The energy of the space is extraordinary. There's something powerful about doing transformation work in a place that's actively being transformed. The imperfection isn't a flaw - it's permission.

It’s set in a place where the skies are so wide they change how you think. Where ancient droves and riverbanks have been walked for centuries. Where at night the stars are extraordinary - the kind you forget exist when you live and work in cities.

The Ouse Washes stretch out around you - one of the most remarkable wetland landscapes in Britain. Created in the 1600s by Dutch engineers who looked at an impossible marshland and decided to transform it entirely. A landscape that exists because someone made a bold decision and committed to it completely.

In May the floods have receded. The breeding birds have arrived from Africa. Barn owls hunt the riverbanks at dusk. The fenland sky is enormous and everywhere.

The days are held in the old Sunday School rooms of a private chapel built in 1840 - old walls, open space and streaming light, complete privacy, a space that has witnessed important moments before and knows how to hold them.

Your base for the weekend is The Three Pickerels - a beautiful riverside inn with views straight out over the Washes, 5 minutes walk from the chapel. The kind of place that feels like it was made for exactly this sort of gathering.

Evenings are spent around a long table sharing exceptional food. Later, conversation continues in the way it only can when guards are down and something real has happened.

What You'll Experience

This isn't a conference. There are no keynotes or panels. No networking small talk or forced icebreakers.

You arrive Thursday late morning to coffee and a group of women who get straight to what matters. Within the first hour you'll be having conversations more real than most you've had all year.

The work has three movements

Recognition: You've been bolder than you realise. We start by proving it. You'll map every brave move you've made to get here - the visible ones and the invisible ones. The decisions no one saw. The moments you kept going when it would have been easier to stop. By the time we're done, you'll see clearly: you've done hard things before. You can do them again.

Vision and Clearing: Then we go deeper. What does your boldest business actually look like? Not the version you think you should want - the real one. And who is the woman running it? How does she spend her days? What has she stopped doing? Who's around her?

Once the vision is clear, we face what's in the way. The real fears, not the surface ones. The beliefs you're carrying that aren't yours. The things that need to die for this new version to live. This is the winter work - deep, fertile, necessary.

Commitment and Integration: By Friday afternoon you'll have named your ONE bold move for 2026. You'll state it out loud to eight other women who will hold you to it. Then we build the structure that makes it stick when Monday arrives and real life rushes back in.

Throughout the weekend:

  • Somatic practices and movement that get you out of your head and into your body - where intuition actually lives

  • Silent walks in the Fens at dawn when your thinking is clearest

  • Facilitated spaces where you're deeply listened to without being fixed or advised

  • Time in the hot tub letting the day's insights settle

  • Conversations around the table with women who understand exactly what it costs to build what you're building

  • The space to actually rest - because rest is where breakthrough becomes possible.

The Investment

£1,200 (Early Bird Pricing £895)

Includes all facilitation, two nights accommodation in the beautiful village inn on the river, all meals from Thursday lunch through Saturday breakfast, materials and 90-day post-retreat accountability structure.

Payment plans available - because the irony of needing to fix cash flow to invest in the thing that helps you fix it is not lost on me.

Limited to 9 Founders

Deliberately, uncompromisingly small.

Small enough that you can't disappear into the background. Big enough for powerful group dynamics. Intimate enough that real transformation is possible.

9 places. When they're gone, they're gone.

Applications close March 31st or when full.

How to Apply

The group is curated. This isn't first come, first served - it's about getting the right mix of founders in the room together.

Your application takes 10 minutes:

  • Where you are in your business right now

  • What you need from this weekend

  • Why now

Selected applicants will have a short conversation to confirm fit.

Your Hosts

Thea Brook is a CFO and three-time founder who has spent the past twenty years helping businesses grow with clarity and commercial confidence.

She works with founders who are past the early scrappy stage but find that growth has started to feel heavier rather than easier.

Her work focuses on helping businesses reduce founder dependency, stabilise delivery and build models that support sustainable growth.

Stephanie Satriawan is a coach, menstruality mentor and intuitive entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience in therapies and practices that nourish, heal and restore.

She works with women who are ready to step away from the relentless pace of modern life and return to a rhythm that has balance, creativity and space.

Her work draws on cyclical living, yoga nidra and somatic practices to help women reconnect with their intuition and build a life that feels genuinely sustainable, from the inside out.
